Palm Springs Community Concert Association

The Palm Springs Community Concert Association (PSCCA) provides free concerts to students enrolled in the Palm Springs Unified School District (PSUSD), which encompasses Palm Springs, Desert Hot Springs, Cathedral City, Thousand Palms and Rancho Mirage. Students are bused from communities represented in the district to the concerts, which are held in The Richards Center for the Arts in the Palm Springs High School.

Approximately 86% of the families of PSUSD students are at or below the poverty level. By offering the concerts, the PSCCA is providing approximately 2,400 students with exposure to the musical performing arts that in all likelihood they would not otherwise receive.
