Coachella Valley Arts Institute (CVAI) is a local arts non-profit and educational institution focused on early graduation, as well as college entry. We offer quality after-school music and arts programs, artistic training and job skill development while implementing STEM. Perfect for home-schooled youth, music artists, gifted, adolescent parents or students who want to get an early start on their desired career. Programs are strategically developed for CVAI to remain a quality resource throughout the Coachella Valley, for students and at-risk youth. We have begun to reopen our state. We are delighted to announce our latest program and event!

Coachella Valley Arts Institute (CVAI), previously known as Futurenomic Resources, will enhance the lives of at-risk and low-income children and youth throughout Desert Hot Springs with our exclusive music programming called, STEM Drums & Guitar. This is a fun-filled program of music and technology through STEM. This live and online course includes play techniques, rhythm, song creation, sound recording, proprietary career development from our staff, Alvin Taylor of Palm Springs (world famous drummer), Vicci Flame (LA Based music producer and artist) and other musicians. STEM Drums & Guitar will present various drums and guitars, teaching participants hands-on, applied learning techniques to engage and excite students for STEM education and STEM careers. Select students will receive free instruments upon completion.

Coachella Valley Arts Institute (CVAI), previously known as Futurenomic Resources, is an organization that serves the Coachella Valley as a local nonprofit and hybrid private school focused on early graduation, early college entry, as well as artistic training and job development, while implementing STEM Education. STEM stands for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. The ultimate goal of STEM Education is to encourage students to take an interest in STEM subjects at an early age, benefiting them when they enter the jobs market, and in turn benefiting economy.

CVAI will enhance the lives of at-risk and low-income children and youth throughout Desert Hot Springs and select areas in the Mid Valley, with the Music & Movement Program, through STEM Education. These youths will learn about vocal anatomy, various sound recordings, and how a studio works, from pre-production to post-production. In addition to recording, the Music & Movement Program will produce an understanding for music development and media creation while increasing math literacy and career potential for the future.

The mission of Futurenomic Resources is to work creatively with music and performing arts to pro-mote the improvement of self-esteem, fitness and economic status through professional training and project completion for low-income and at-risk youth artists. With our project “Make Music, Create Futures”, F.R.I. will assist the youth of Desert Hot Springs in overcoming cultural, ethnic, economic and environmental challenges harnessed in a community plagued with years of poverty and high rates of youth violence and drug abuse in the Coachella Valley. At-risk and low income youth learn how a studio works, from pre-production to post-production. In addition to recording, the students learn about music promotion and booking, how to devise a business plan and how to organize a public event such as a concert or art show. Our organization promotes the use of clean, positive and self-esteem building lyrics, dance and expressive art.
