Coachella Valley Chapter (2023-2024)
Cake4Kids supports at-risk youth ages 1-24 by providing critical childhood experiences and social support that make youth feel whole. We make them feel loved and show them they have not been forgotten by providing each youth with their very own personalized, custom cake to celebrate birthdays, graduations, adoptions, and academic awards.
Recognizing a need right here in our own backyard, we launched the Coachella Valley Chapter in 2022 with a mission to help the underserved youth of our community from Desert Hot Springs to Indio and beyond. We partner with local human and social services agencies to bake and deliver cakes to those who are victims of domestic violence or human trafficking, in foster care, LGBTQIA+, experiencing homelessness, living below the poverty line, refugees, and unaccompanied immigrant minors.
To make this all happen, we collaborate with nearly 20 local agencies and have recruited an enthusiastic team of over 80 volunteer bakers, delivery drivers and artisans who are indeed the heart and soul of our Coachella Valley Chapter.
