Scouting- Changing Lives (2025-2026)

Scouting America’s Coachella Valley initiative brings values-based youth development programs directly to underserved communities, focusing on elementary-aged students (K–5). Through a proven blend of leadership training, outdoor adventure, STEM education, and community service, Scouts gain real-world skills while growing in confidence, empathy, and purpose. Fully inclusive and guided by the Scout Oath and Law, the program fosters character and civic responsibility in a safe, supportive environment. With strong local partnerships and a commitment to reaching at-risk youth, Scouting America is reigniting its impact in the region - ensuring every child has the opportunity to explore their potential and become a leader for good.

Scout Oath: On my honor I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law; to help other people at all times; to keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight.

Scout Law: A Scout is Trustworthy, Loyal, Helpful, Friendly, Courteous, Kind, Obedient, Cheerful, Thrifty, Brave, Clean, and Reverent.
