Children's Outreach (2022-2023)

It’s extremely expensive to raise a child with a disability – four times as costly as raising a healthy child. Angel View Children’s Outreach was created in 2012 to meet the unmet needs of local children whose parents who struggle with the issues that arise from their kids’ disabilities.

Each year, our bilingual case managers meet with hundreds of families throughout the valley to assess their children’s needs. Then we offer individualized services, at no cost. We provide resources and referrals -- including assistance applying for services; mileage reimbursement for travel to appointments with out-of-the-area pediatric specialists; case management services; mini-grants for medical equipment, supplies and services not covered by insurance; educational advocacy for children’s IEP’s; activity sponsorships and more. In this way, we help children with disabilities reach their maximum potential. Angel View Children’s Outreach is funded entirely through philanthropy. Grants from organizations like Anderson Children’s Foundation make it possible.

Angel View has provided services to children and adults with disabilities since 1954. In addition to our Children’s Outreach Program, Angel View operates 18 group homes that provide 24-hour residential care and a therapeutic Day Program for adults with developmental disabilities.
