A Window Between Worlds

Windows Healing Arts Training- Foster Care Digital Resources (2025-2026)

A Window Between Worlds seeks to empower individuals and communities impacted by violence and trauma through a transformative healing arts program, viewing art as a catalyst to release trauma, build resilience, and ignite social change. We are proud to have Anderson Children’s Foundation supporting our project this year: to provide 5 Coachella Valley area scholarships for our 2-day Facilitator Training program and support for digital Foster Care resources to be released in 2026. Our training and resources build on trauma-informed healing arts practices and offer support to scholarship grantees through programming that is:

-Strength-Based: AWBW focuses on building individual strengths, fostering resilience and self-confidence. By highlighting creativity and agency, clients are empowered to grow and thrive through self-directed, strengths-based practices.

-Low-Barrier Access: Programs are designed to be accessible for all, with simple tools and minimal prerequisites, ensuring anyone can engage in the healing process without unnecessary obstacles.

-Demonstrates Non-Verbal Expression: Creative, non-verbal methods—such as art and movement—allow clients to express themselves without words, offering a comfortable space for healing.

-Research-Informed: AWBW integrates well into a variety of evidence-informed modalities, infusing creativity with proven methods to ensure effective and impactful outcomes.
